Greetings Posen Intermediate School Family,
I am honored to be your principal and pleased to welcome you back to the 2024-2025 school year! It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where all staff members strive to build positive relationships to support our students' academic and social-emotional needs. Our first day of school this year will be on Monday, August 19, 2024, and it will be a full day!
As we embark on this exciting new school year with our theme,"Road to Success: Panthers Lead the Way," I am thrilled to see our community come together in the spirit of collaboration and excellence. Our students will take charge of their learning journeys, setting goals, actively engaging in class, and supporting one another along the way. Our dedicated staff will guide and mentor our Panthers, fostering a positive and innovative learning environment that encourages curiosity and resilience. Meanwhile, our wonderful parents will provide unwavering support and encouragement, maintaining open communication with teachers and celebrating their children's achievements.
As Principal of Posen Intermediate, I am committed to fostering a strong home-to-school connection to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. Strong family engagement has always been a critical part of student success. As parents, you are your child’s first teachers and important role models. Every parent can help their child to be prepared and responsible in school, regardless of their educational background or the language they speak. Opportunities to connect include email, Class Dojo, and Google Classroom, along with attending school events as much as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher at any time with questions or concerns, as well as to Posen Administration. It is also important to stay informed about what your child is learning. Your child’s teacher will keep you updated, but you can reach out if you notice your child struggling with the content or to discuss strategies for practicing at home.
On behalf of the Posen Intermediate School staff, I want to thank you for being a part of our Panther Family, where we build on traditions and meet future challenges in exciting and innovative ways. Please join us for Open House on Wednesday, August 28th, at 5:30 pm. We will also have our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sign-up on the same day. I look forward to building relationships with all stakeholders throughout this year and encourage you to become active members of the PTO and the Panther family. Together, we are paving the path to success and ensuring that every Panther has the opportunity to thrive. Here's to a fantastic year ahead!

Es un honor para mí ser su Director y me complace darles la bienvenida nuevamente al año escolar 2024-2025. Es un verdadero privilegio ser parte de una comunidad donde todos los miembros del personal se esfuerzan por construir relaciones positivas para apoyar las necesidades académicas y socioemocionales de nuestros estudiantes. Nuestro primer día de clases este año será el Lunes 19 de Agosto de 2024, ¡y será un día completo!
Al embarcarnos en este nuevo y emocionante año escolar con nuestro tema, "Camino al éxito: Los Panteras lideran el camino", estoy emocionado de ver a nuestra comunidad unirse en un espíritu de colaboración y excelencia. Nuestros estudiantes se harán cargo de sus recorridos de aprendizaje, estableciendo metas, participando activamente en clase y apoyándose mutuamente en el camino. Nuestro personal dedicado guiará y orientará a nuestros Panteras, fomentando un entorno de aprendizaje positivo e innovador que fomente la curiosidad y la resiliencia. Mientras tanto, nuestros maravillosos padres brindarán un apoyo y aliento inquebrantables, manteniendo una comunicación abierta con los maestros y celebrando los logros de sus hijos.
Como Director de Posen Intermediate, me comprometo a fomentar una fuerte conexión entre el hogar y la escuela para garantizar que nuestros niños puedan alcanzar su máximo potencial. Una fuerte participación familiar siempre ha sido una parte fundamental del éxito de los estudiantes. Como padres, ustedes son los primeros maestros de sus hijos/as y modelos a seguir importantes. Todos los padres pueden ayudar a sus hijos/as a estar preparados y ser responsables en la escuela, independientemente de su formación académica o el idioma que hablen. Las oportunidades para conectarse incluyen el correo electrónico, Class Dojo y Google Classroom, además de asistir a los eventos escolares tanto como sea posible. No dude en comunicarse con el maestro/a de su hijo/a en cualquier momento si tiene preguntas o inquietudes, así como con la administración de Posen. También es importante mantenerse informado sobre lo que su hijo/a está aprendiendo. El maestro/a de su hijo/a lo mantendrá informado, pero puede comunicarse con él/ella si nota que su hijo/a tiene dificultades con el contenido o para discutir estrategias para practicar en casa.
En nombre del personal de la Escuela Intermedia de Posen, quiero agradecerles por ser parte de nuestra familia Pantera, donde construimos tradiciones y enfrentamos desafíos futuros de maneras emocionantes e innovadoras. Únase a nosotros en la jornada de puertas abiertas el Miércoles 28 de Agosto a las 5:30 p.m. También tendremos la inscripción para la Organización de Padres y Maestros (PTO) el mismo día. Espero construir relaciones con todas las partes interesadas durante este año y los aliento a convertirse en miembros activos de la PTO y de la familia Pantera. Juntos, estamos allanando el camino hacia el éxito y asegurando que cada Pantera tenga la oportunidad de prosperar. ¡Brindemos por un año fantástico!
