Greetings Posen Intermediate School Family,
I am honored to be your principal and pleased to welcome you back to the 2023-2024 school year! It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where all staff members strive to build positive relationships to support our student's academic and social-emotional needs. Our First day of school this year will be on Monday, August 21, 2023, and it will be a full day!
This year our school-wide theme is centered around the 3 E’s: Exemplifying Excellence Everyday! Every day that your child steps foot inside Posen Intermediate, we are committed to creating an atmosphere where mediocracy is not acceptable. I challenge all our students, staff, parents, family members, and community to help continue in the elevation of our Panther scholars. Our school motto at Posen Intermediate is: Excellence Is Our Normal. The staff at Posen Intermediate has high expectations for all of our students and even higher expectations of ourselves.
As Principal of Posen Intermediate, I am committed to fostering a solid home-to-school connection to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. Strong family engagement has always been a critical part of student success. As Parents, you are your child’s first teachers and important role models. Every parent can help their child to be prepared and responsible in school, regardless of their educational background and the language they speak. Opportunities to connect include email, Class Dojo, and Google Classroom along with attending school events as much as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher at any time with questions and/or concerns as well as Posen Administration. It is also important to stay informed about what your child is learning. Your child’s teacher will keep you updated, but you can reach out to share if you notice your child is struggling with the content or to discuss strategies for practicing at home.
On behalf of the Posen Intermediate School staff, I want to thank you for being a part of our panther community, where we build on traditions and meet future challenges in exciting and innovative ways. Please join us for the Open House on Wednesday, August 30th at 5:30 pm. We will also have our parent-teacher organization (PTO) sign-up on the same day. I look forward to building relationships with all stakeholders throughout this year and encourage you to become active members of the PTO and the Panther family. It is going to be an amazing year!

¡Me siento honrado de ser su Director y me complace darle la bienvenida nuevamente al año escolar 2023-2024! Es verdaderamente un privilegio ser parte de una comunidad donde todos los miembros del personal se esfuerzan por construir relaciones positivas para apoyar las necesidades académicas y socioemocionales de nuestros estudiantes. ¡Nuestro primer día de clases este año será el Lunes 21 de Agosto de 2023 y será un día completo!
Este año, nuestro tema para toda la escuela se centra en las 3 E: ¡Ejemplificar la excelencia todos los días! Todos los días que su hijo pone un pie dentro de Posen Intermediate, nos comprometemos a crear una atmósfera en la que la mediocracia no sea aceptable. Desafío a todos nuestros estudiantes, personal, padres, miembros de la familia y la comunidad a ayudar a continuar en la elevación de nuestros estudiantes Panther. Nuestro lema escolar en Posen Intermediate es: Excelencia es Nuestra Normalidad. El personal de Posen Intermediate tiene altas expectativas para todos nuestros estudiantes e incluso expectativas más altas para nosotros mismos.
Como Director de Posen Intermediate, estoy comprometido a fomentar una conexión sólida entre el hogar y la escuela para garantizar que nuestros niños puedan alcanzar su máximo potencial. El fuerte compromiso familiar siempre ha sido una parte fundamental del éxito de los estudiantes. Como padres, ustedes son los primeros maestros de sus hijos y sus importantes modelos a seguir. Todos los padres pueden ayudar a sus hijos a estar preparados y ser responsables en la escuela, independientemente de su nivel educativo y del idioma que hablen. Las oportunidades para conectarse incluyen correo electrónico, Class Dojo y Google Classroom junto con asistir a eventos escolares tanto como sea posible. No dude en comunicarse con el maestro de su hijo en cualquier momento si tiene preguntas o inquietudes, asía como con la administración de Posen. También es importante mantenerse informado sobre lo que su hijo está aprendiendo. El maestro de su hijo lo mantendrá actualizado, pero puede comunicarse para compartir si nota que su hijo tiene dificultades con el contenido o para analizar estrategias para practicar en casa.
En nombre del personal de la Escuela Intermedia Posen, quiero agradecerles por ser parte de nuestra comunidad de Panteras, donde construimos sobre tradiciones y enfrentamos desafíos futuros de maneras emocionantes e innovadoras. Únase a nosotros para la jornada de puertas abiertas el Miércoles 30 de Agosto a las 5:30 p.m. También tendremos la inscripción de nuestra organización de padres y maestros (PTO) el mismo día. Espero construir relaciones con todas las partes interesadas a lo largo de este año y los animo a que se conviertan en miembros activos de la PTO y la Familia Panther. ¡Va a ser un año increíble!
